SHROPSHIRE CAT CLUB SHOW RESULTS
2ND FEBRUARY 2013

The day dawned bright crisp and frosty but thankfully no mention of snow and exhibitors were arriving before the Vets. We had one Vet who failed to arrive but still Vetting in was completed in good time for the start of the show.

Judging started promptly at 10:00am and the day swung into life and the committee and helpers all worked extremely hard throughout the day.

I am delighted to say that apart from one or two minor niggles that were easily solved everything seemed to run smoothly and we were able to start Best In Show Judging by 3:45pm with a wonderful array of beautiful cats all excellent examples of their breed sections. As an extra little touch each cat or kitten who got the best of their variety also received a special rosette to mark their achievement.

There were a few miscellaneous results that were late going out and therefore some people were not able to claim rosettes but everyone seemed more eager to make their way home so the show was closed at 4:30pm.

My sincere thanks must go to the committee who all worked really well together, all the judges and stewards who all seemed very pleased with the standard of cats that they handled. To all those who worked extremely hard on the results tables and the people who volunteered to distribute rosettes and cards every little helps as they say and we can’t do it all alone.

We hope you had a good day at THE SHROPSHIRE and will join us again next year on 1st February 2014
